HOT CHOCOLATE PRALINE
A warm and comforting hot drink for those lazy days when you just want to curl up on the sofa and watch a movie . Creamy, frothy and chocolatey this is the perfect chocolate drink. Made with home-made hazelnut mylk , totally plant based and 100% delicious.
Ingredients:
150 grams raw hazelnuts (soaked overnight in water) 5 pitted dates 750 ml ( 3 cups water) pinch of salt 3 tablespoons cocoa powder 3 tablespoons maple syrup 50 grams soaked cashews ( soak for a couple hours) Directions: Step 1. Place the hazelnut in a bowl and cover with water to let them soak. Best done overnight. You ca also soak the cashews. Step 2. Add the hazelnuts, dates, water and pinch of salt in a blended and blend Step 3. Strain the mylk using a nut mylk bag. Step4. Pour the mylk along with the cocoa , maple syrup and cashews in the blender and blend for about 3 minutes. This will make the cocoa warm , but will still keep it under 40 degrees and thus not kill the enzymes , keeping it more healthy and nutritious. Step 5. Pour into mugs and drink!!! Any left overs can be stored in the fridge. You can warm it up or its delicious cold as well. |
