CHOCOLATE CRACKLES
These treats really remind me of my childhood. They were at every birthday party. Light and crispy and chocolatey they really are the perfect kids treat for any occasion.
Ingredients:
4 cups rice crispies / bubbles (Organic and sugar free) 1 cup desiccated coconut 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/2 cup agave syrup ¼ cup fine coconut sugar 1 cup odorless coconut oil melted pinch of sea salt Directions:
Step 1. Combine melted coconut oil, coconut sugar, agave and cocoa powder in a bowl. Mix well to ensure no lumps. Step 2. In another bowl combine the rice crispies and the coconut shreds Step 3. Next pour the chocolate mixture into the rice crispies. Stir well to ensure all crispies are coated with the chocolate mixture. Step 4. next line a tray with cup cake forms and fill them up with the mixture. Sprinkle some coconut shreds on top. Step 5. Place in the fridge to set. Usually about half an hour. If you are in a rush you can place them in the freezer for 10 minutes. Step 6. When ready eat them straight from the fridge. If left out in a warm place they will melt. But no need to worry. Just pop them back in the fridge to firm up again. |
