If you are a Matcha fan then your gonna love these biscuits. They have an earthy flavour with hints of Matcha. Great for breakfast on the go , or to be enjoyed with a hot cup of tea anytime of the day.
½ cup Self raising gluten free flour
½ cup oat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons almond butter
3 tablespoon coconut sugar
3 tablespoons agave or maple syrup
2 tablespoons coconut oil
11/2 teaspoons Matcha powder
Step 1. Grind oat flakes into flour
Step 2. In a bowl combine all the dry ingredients and stir well.
Step 3. Melt the coconut oil if it has solidified. Now add the wet ingredients.
Step 4. Mix well to form a sticky dough.
Step 5. Line a baking tray with baking paper and preheat the oven on 180 degrees.
Step 6. Take tablespoon of the mixture and roll into round balls. Place on baking tray and flatten down to form biscuits.
Step 7. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds or any other seed if desired.
Step8. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until golden in color.
Step 9. When done take them out and leave them cool. The cookies will be soft when first taken out but then they will firm up.
Step10. Store in an airtight container to remain fresh.
